My Dear Friends~
There is a quiet place
I know, where nature sings to me the music of the mountains, surrounded by the trees and nearby stream~ a place where the
deer and wild turkey feel at home among the whispering leaves and grass, a place where the little chipmunks scamper and play
all day ~ the night sky is lit up with stars so brilliant, an irresistible urge comes over you to reach out and touch them
~ if you listen closely you can hear the owl calling to it’s mate across the mountain top ~ oh the wonder of it all
~
It is
not too far away, and yet it sometimes seems a place removed from daily life, a distant dream of time, space and solitude~
so alive and busy each moment of the day and night~ I stop and gaze so often with the perfect splendor of it all~ I am amazed
to see the water that makes its way down from the top of each mountain, and over eons of time cuts deep into the earth making
its way eventually to the sea~
I have
been lost all my life in city streets, in traffic fast and loud, where sirens scream and nature’s voice is drowned out
by the crowd. But all is not lost, come with me, spend a moment in time just to hear the song of the wind coming down the
hollow. Listen as it touches each tree, makes a turn here and there, then sweeps by with its soft kiss, just for us, my dear
friend~
So I
go to seek that special place where I become part of nature’s song, and hold it so close to my heart ~ that quiet place
I’ve found in the valley of the Sand Fork, out Kincheloe way, nestled in the arms of God’s magnificent Mountains……Kissed
by the Wings of the Wind and passing Time, and still wet from the Tears of the Morning Dew~
Come
with me my friend, I call it
~The Gate House …at Wind
Song Farm~…
Sincerely,
Jim and Vicki Dabronzo
